Hiking in the Tucson area

 Blog post #25

We had a lot of great family time including a hike in Saguaro National Park.  Saguaro cactus grow exclusively in the Sonoran desert which extends from mid-Arizona to Mexico.  They make for great photos.  It can be extremely hot in this part of Arizona in the summer, but it was perfectly comfortable in November.  The "kids" went off on their own since we couldn't keep up with them.  They ended up getting lost and had to have us "old folks" pick them up!  They were treated to an up-close tarantula sighting though!

The parents to the rescue!

YIKES!!!
